Jackie Josephs & Jesse DeSoto will be conducting the Try-Outs
Jackie Josephs and Jesse DeSoto have worked and continue to work with some of the greatest coaches in the World, such as, Jean Marc Genereux & France Mousseau-Rufus Dustin-Taliat & Marina Tarsinov-Corky Ballas-Don Johnson & Kasia Kozac-Bruno Collins & Luann Pulliam-Stephen Knight-Tony Dovolani-Elena Grinenko-Maxim Chmerkovskiy & Martin Lamb.
Jackie Josephs has been dancing the ballroom circuit since she was 7 years old and held the undefeated United States Pre-teen and Junior Champion titles for 10 consecutive years. Along with her partner, Jesse DeSoto, they have captured United States and World status in the Open American Rhythm. In 2005, they placed 2nd in the World in the Mambo/ Salsa Competition held in Miami, Florida. Jackie is a Member of the Fred Astaire Council of Dance and one of the most talented young dancers in the industry!
Jesse DeSoto started as a dance instructor in 1999 at a Fred Astaire Dance. Jesse was awarded Top Competitive Male Instructor in the Fred Astaire chain in 2003 & 2004. Jesse credits his business and dance training to some of the top leaders in the dance industry- Joe & Rae Josephs, Steven Knight, Bruno Collins, Luann Pulliam , Rufus Dustin, Don Johnson , Kasia Kozac, Jean Marc Genereux , France Mousseau, Corky Ballas, David Hamilton, Taliat & Marina Tarsinov,Tony Dovolani, Elena Grinenko, Maxim Chmerkovskiy & Martin Lamb. Because of Jesse and Jackies success in American Rhythm competition, Jesse DeSoto has become well known in the dance competitive circles. So well known that when the producers of “Dancing with the Stars” were looking for an additional male instructor they found Jesse and offered him a 2 year contract for the blockbuster reality show Dancing with the Stars.
