Avenue100 Media Solutions Inc. is currently looking to hire a Junior Web Designer to join its highly successful and growing Higher Education Division. This teams main focus is to generate interest in college and university undergraduate, graduate, and certificate (continuing education and professional) programs to individuals seeking to further their education that will lead them to building a successful career.
This is an entry to mid‐level position that is ideal for someone looking to build a career in web design. The position will be involved in the online marketing strategies, and overall user experience design being run at Avenue100. Avenue100 is seeking energetic and self‐motivated people to join our high-performing team.
Day to Day Responsibilities for this position are as follows:
Assist Senior Designer in the production, layout and user experience design for several of our web properties
Design and development HTML marketing emails
Online banner design and production
Work with Acquisition Team on Landing Page and Conversion Funnel production
Optimization based on Performance Results
To be considered for this position you must meet these minimum qualifications:
2-3 years professional web design experience
Strong graphic, typography and web design skills
Fundamental understanding of design and branding best practices
Some UX and UI experience (navigation design, interaction design)
Experience designing and optimizing conversion funnels
Ability to work with analysts to understand design performance
ROI/Performance oriented design focus
Experience with Adobe CS4 Suite
Knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus
Knowledge of Print/Graphic Design is a plus
Ability to handle multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail is necessary
