Fast growing Development / Real Estate firm looking to acquire energetic, hard working, interior designer / stager.
Position Summary:
Position requires working knowledge of space planning, design principles, furniture selection, ordering and installation process, along with tile, paint and window treatment selection and facilitation. Must have experience working with contractors concerning finish selections. Candidate must have a car, as most projects require work in the field. Some evenings and weekends required. Additional requirements of the position include overseeing and managing furniture inventory for staging division.
Skills/Requirements:
Degree in Interior Design and or Staging.
Must have a working knowledge of space planning, design principals, furniture selection, ordering and installation process.
Experience selecting tile, paint, window treatments, and all home finishes.
Experience working with contractors selecting color, trim, counter-tops, kitchen and bathroom finishes.
Experience in evaluating home challenges, creating detailed reports of such challenges and suggesting ways to overcome these deficiencies.
Must have flexible schedule, transportation, and the ability to perform light physical work, i.e. installing selected furniture, accessories, etc.
Knowledge and experience working with CAD is a plus.
