Creative, Innovative, Conceptual, Interaction Designer
JOB DESCRIPTION
If you are a senior designer with the ability to think creatively, conceptually, and consider design options that aren’t the norm, our client is going to be really interested in talking to you. While their product is used by millions daily, they need a designer who can help them create a new web-based tool and really push the possibilites of what that experience will look like.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will work closely with a team of user researchers, software engineers, product managers, and program managers in a highly collaborative environment. A command of a wide range of tools and methods, and the ability to communicate ideas quickly and interactively are essential. In this role, concepts will be illustrated through sketches, mockups, wireframes, and rapid prototypes. A passion for our customers and creating great product experiences is a must!!
QUALIFICATIONS
- Awesome visual design. Whether you went to a top design school or are self-taught, your visual design ability is beyond compare.
- An extremely conceptual designer and a big thinker.
- The ability to quickly concept new design ideas and defend those designs.
- A basis in solid user experience design. You understand the principles that make a product easy to navigate.
- An awesome work ethic and a great attitude – you are flexible, hard-working, fun to be around, and love a challenge.
- 4+ years of experience as an interaction designer.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- This is a 3 month +, full-time, W-2 contract position located in Redmond, WA
- This position is not eligible for telecommute or offsite work
